Leela Foundation, a non-profit organization in Haridwar,Uttarakhand, India was founded to empower underprivileged children, youth and women through relevant education, innovative youth and women empowerment and market-focused livelihood programmes. Leela Foundation deploys the best possible methodology and technology for achieving the ideal of Earning while Learning (EWL), to practice and promote good governance. To link people from remote villages to the digital society through computer education with social development initiatives; The goal of Leela Foundation is to provide quality education for children of disadvantaged communities, teaching skills to women and youths under Earning while Learning  and make a difference in the lives of those children, women and youth. A vital part of their initiative is addressing the challenges that prevent these children, women and youth from obtaining a quality education in their communities. Leela Foundation is working towards providing holistic education and creating sustainable livelihoods for 5,000 children in the next ten years. To this end we focus equally on providing shelter homes, communities and schools, increasing impact and sustainability. This organization has motto of being “committed to a holistic and humanistic vision of quality education, the realization of everyone’s right to education, and the belief that education plays a fundamental role in human, social, and economic development.” As an NGO in India for education, Leela Foundation has shown relentless dedication to making life better for children of disadvantaged communities by providing them with an education that will enable them to have a better future. Leela Foundation bridges the gaps in formal education and opportunities by providing under-privileged children language and STEAM education, life-skills support and scholarships for higher education.
